About Allison

 

Based in New York City, my work is words, all sorts. I divide my time between freelance copywriting and content marketing, editing A Women's Thing magazine, and writing poems. My poetry chapbook, Write Home, was published in January 2015 by Finishing Line Press. Before this I lived in St. Petersburg, Russia, where I worked as Assistant Editor of The St. Petersburg Times, the city's largest English-language paper. Before THAT, I graduated with Honors from the University of Virginia, where I studied English (Poetry Writing) and French.

 

When I'm not writing, I'm ballroom dancing. Really.
